Griffeen Valley Educate Together National School

Well the great day has finally arrived! Griffeen Valley Educate Together National School opened its doors today to welcome 214 pupils to its new, state-of-the art 16 class room school on Griffeen Glen Boulevard. It’s been a long and hard 2 ½ years work for the team of people who set up the school. We’ve come a long way from 24 children in the Scout Den in Lucan village in 2002. We are very grateful to our Patron, Educate Together, the Dept of Education and Science, the builders Western Building Systems, Coady Partnership (Architects), Bruce Shaw Project Management and all our staff and parents. We can’t wait to show you all our beautiful new school – an open day is being planned and will happen in the first term (when the school is totally finished). Keep an eye out for further details!
